Zombie-Loan (2008)
Basé sur le manga de PEACH-PIT, sérialisé en G-Fantasy. Quand un humain est marqué pour mourir, une ligne grise faible qui est invisible à la plupart apparaît autour de leur cou. Comme le temps passe, cet anneau devient plus sombre et plus sombre, jusqu'à ce qu'il soit finalement noir, et cette personne meurt. Kita Michiru a un cadeau inhabituel - elle possède des «yeux de Shinigami», qui lui permettent de voir ces bagues. Quand Michiru remarque que deux des garçons de sa classe, Akatsuki Chika et Tachibana Shito ont non seulement des bagues, mais qu'ils sont noirs comme un jais, ils lui révèlent qu'ils étaient censés mourir dans un accident tragique il y a six mois. Avec l'aide du bureau de prêt de Zombie Loan, ils ont eu une seconde chance à vie, s'ils pouvaient payer leur dette en faisant le travail de Shinigami et en tuant des zombies malveillants. Ils demandent à Michiru de les aider dans leurs efforts, et elle voit sa vie quotidienne changer radicalement.

Chika's old acquaintance, Reiichirou Shiba, helps Chika and Michiru out of a jam. Shiba then tags along with the two to the Z-Loan office, where Shito instantly points his gun at him. Chika, who also seems to dislike Shiba, convinces everyone that he is of no harm. Meanwhile, a new addition to the office is introduced, in order to help them with their upcoming job.
Chika finds Shito and they reunite to fight the twisted doctor Yoshizumi, who is absorbed into his ultimate golem creation. Otsu saves the day by putting an agent that Nogi created into Yoshizimi, causing him to to fall apart. Shito saves the girl golem, but she ends up dying when Nogi shoots it in the head as part of "cleaning up". Shito then beats up Nogi and gives the golem a proper human burial.
