Le vent ne semble pouvoir pénétrer les lourdes structures de cette immense ville, où l'atmosphère suffocante impose aux citadins le port d'un masque en permanence. Cet univers hostile est celui de Zedd, adolescent violent, tourmenté et méprisé par un entourage malveillant. Il aspire plus que tout à la liberté et cherche à fuir un monde qui ne veut pas de lui. Dans ses rêves, il ressent l’appel d’une mystérieuse entité ailée, laquelle semble d'ailleurs liée à l'étrange symbole qui orne sa main gauche. Le jour de son quinzième printemps allait être celui de la délivrance : il apprend médusé qu’il serait un Shard Caster, autrement dit un être capable de manipuler un Spirit Shard (esprit contrôlant un élément, le vent en l'occurrence). Cette puissante entité, qui hantait jusque là ses rêves, lui apparaît bientôt, ouvrant une brèche spatio-temporelle : Zedd n’hésite pas une seconde, il franchit cette porte afin de rejoindre un monde à sa mesure. Il se retrouve dès lors plongé dans un univers parallèle qui semble aux antipodes de sa ville glaciale. Mais cette terre promise, luxuriante et baignée par les rayons du soleil, est sans doute moins paisible qu'elle n'en a l'air : en effet, Zedd atterrit en plein milieu d'un combat entre Shard Caster. Bienvenue dans le monde de Kiba...

The episode starts with Zed getting enveloped in Tusker's power; Tusker releases himself and uses Zed's body and spread his wings to reveal his true form. While Zed is inside the endless abyss in Tusker getting lectured about how humans are bad because they want power, all the spirits get released. In the end Tusker is defeated, spirits go back to where they came from, Zed tries to attack Amil Gaoul but ends up shifting and merging with Amil Gaoul and teleports to Calm where the city's wind has returned.
Noa summons Tusker once again, but it's still in its incomplete form; meanwhile, a possessed Noa fights Zed as the four realms (Temperal, Tusk, Neotopia, and Zymot) experience unprecedented turmoils in the form of meteors and earthquakes as they draw near to each other.
Roia and Jiko head to Task to look for Zed. Upon arrival Roia is attacked by Sara while She and Jiko look for Zed. Zed comes running after hearing Roia's scream. Zed's appearance causes Sara to run away and leaves Zed wondering where she has been all this time. What is Sara willing to do to get Amil Gaul from Zed? Will she kill her own son for the power she craves?
Tusker is now effect inside the spirit to control the spirits inside. Noa and Zed had lost their spirits. But the Tusker has a significant effect on their resurrection.
Zed and Lord Doruga begin their battle. As the battle progress' Zed figures out that Doruga is actually Noa. Since Amil Gaoul is defeating Sachira with ease, Jimu steps in and releases Pronimo and Monardi to make the battle go in the favor of Doruga. With no choice Zed releases Shadin. Becoming impatient Jimu begins to attack Zed while he fights Doruga(Noa). With Zed defeated Jimu takes his Key Spirits. Now with 4 of the Key spirits all Jimu has to do now is get Sachira from Doruga and find Mirette. Can Zed stop him?
Lord Doruga is accepted among the Jimoto leaders but Morima wants to prove he is worthy by fighting her. Out in Task Gitra prepares to take Mirette back to the palace. Back in Tempura Roia waits for Zed to return. Will Zed return back to Tempura?
Zed decides to go off with Sagiri and the Seekers to learn about his Mother and his Father. Meanwhile in Task Morima decides she wants to test Mirette to see if she is Task's savior. If Mirette makes it back to the palace alive then Morima will accept her as Task's savior. Can Mirette make it back alive and who was Zed's father?
Zed's Mother, Sara is defeat by Sagiri's key spirit, Shadin. Sara manages to escape. After the fight Zed trys to pursue his mother but is prevented in doing so by Jiko. Zed is now imprisoned in the Tempura base. Will Zed be able to save his mother from her inner demons?
Zed's Mother, Sara has appeared and she seems to be fighting Jiko. We go back in time to discover the relationship between Sara and Jiko. Why has Zed's mother appeared and what could she want?
Sagiri is onboard the Seeker ship. Since she is one of them they put her through the test to see if she is there savior which can only be confirmed by the acceptance of the keyspirt. Meanwhile someone has broken into Tempura. What is this new keyspirt and who has managed to break into the Tempura base?
Ginga has returned to the Ulbaks with Zed and Roia only to find that Professor Bender has given up the lab to Task. Now things have changed and Zed, Roia, and Ginga are on the run from the Task army. In a safe spot Ginga reveals his past then goes to face Dukem while Zed and Roia go deal with Professor Bender. Can Zed and Roia stop the mad Professor and can Ginga defeat Dukem?
With Neotopia under the control of Task Tempura is worried that they will be attacked next. Meanwhile Professor Bender informs Ginga that Ulbaks will be attacked next because of the X-Machina. Not long after Dukem forces show up and the battle is on. Can Ginga stop Dukem or is he completely outmatched?
Zed takes Hiram to Hugh and tries to pull and fast one to kill Hugh but is fooled then caught. Now Hugh offers a chance for Hiram to live longer if he slays the hostages caught by Hugh. Will Hiram kill Hugh's hostages to save his life? And what does Zed's mom want with Sagiri?
Jiko arrives in Neotopia to help out Hairam despite his ban. Hairam reveals Noa is to recieve another key spirit, if they can find it. And hostages are brought in by Hugh, who will return them if he gets Hairam's head.
The three key spirits are having trouble bringing down Ex-Machina; that is, until Amil Gaoul changes his form again. Noa and Zed are captured by Hugh as they are being distracted by the condition of Zed's hand. Roia decides to go to Neotopia to help, and Hugh infiltrates the throne room of the capital!
The war continues. Sagiri befriends a beastman from Task who saved her life. Herrick gets a hold of and releases Ex-Machina, a composite spirit but who does he run into when he shifts to Neotopia? Noa confronts Hugh in battle, but how are they brought together? And can Zed finally summon Amil Gaul again?
Zed and Noah fight all 4 of Nuduu's spirits. When Zed is to take a hit from one of Nuduu's spirits Noah steps in the way and takes the hit for him. Before Zed can see if Noah is alright Noah gets up and heads towards the city which is now under attack. Can Noah get back in time to save the city?
Herik talks to Zed about joining the Ulbakians in fighting against Harim. Meanwhile Hiram sends Noah and Kiira out to find Zed and the Ulbakians and execute them. On the way the notice a large number of Beastmen flying overhead and Noah sends Kiira back to the city to warn everyone while he goes and deals with Zed and the Ulbakians. Meanwhile Roia tries to get the council to let her go after Zed, but they refuse. She then tries to go see Jiko but is told she cannot. Will Noah really kill Zed, has Jiimot and Task officialy declared war on Neotopia, and why has Jiko been imprisoned?
While Neotopia sets up for the Foundation Day celebration, Hugh asks for support from Task in a war against Neotopia. While all this is happening Zed falls ill for some strange reason. Roia is healing him but cannot get his fever down. When Zed wakes up he can't seem to feel Amil Gaul. Later on Jiko tells Roia that she and Zed have nothing to worry about since he talked to Hiram about their punishment. When Roia finds Zed she arrives just in time to see Zed and 5 Neotopian soldiers Shard Shift away. What does Neotopia want with Zed?
Zed and Roia get back from Neotopia and they wait the council's decision on what will happen to them because of what they did in Neotopia. Jiko shows up and tells the council he will go talk to Hiram. In Neotopia Jiko and Hiram talk and Jiko tries to persuade Hiram to let Zed and Roia go. Hiram refuses saying Zed needs to be controled. Meanwhile Herik and some other Ulbalkians watch from above. Can Jiko find a way to get Hiram to lift Zed's punishment? And what is Heirk and the other Ulbakians planning?
Now that Noah has defeated Zed he can advance to the next round. Since Robes didn't show up to fight Noah, Noah gets to go on to the next round and fight Raja, who defeated Herik to advance. As the fight goes on Noah knocks off Raja's mask to reveal that he is Hugh. With his identity revealed Hugh Summons his Key Spirit Puromino and Amil Gaul, whom he stole from Zed, after Noah summons Sachura. Resulting in the defeat of Noah. But when Hugh tries to take Sachura he falls writhing in pain as Amil Gaul falls out of Hugh. Meanwhile Zed is off to fight to get Roia back after Sagiri wakes him up telling him Roia is in trouble. Will Zed be able to save Roia without his spirit?
The battle between Zed and Noa begins. Noa wants Zed to fight seriously, but Zed doesn't want to hurt his long-time friend. Zed has flash backs during the fight of when he first met Noa and how he was bullied by his "friends." Will Zed be able to fight seriously against his best friend? Meanwhile the Council must decide whether or not to have Roia punished to keep the peace between Tempura and Neotopia?
As the Neotopian guards take Roia away Zed and Noah square off outside the room. Zed get's tired of fighting Noa and tackles him then runs by to go after Roia and the gaurds. On the way he meets up with Sagiri and with her help finds Roia, but the guards will not let him in. Noah shows up and tells the guards to let Zed pass. After making sure Roia is alright Zed heads back to the Joust. Before he gets there he meets up with Noah and the two start arguing abot what makes a person strong. To show who is right they decide to settle it in thier upcoming match. Does Zed have what it takes to defeat his best friend? And what will happen to Roia?
The Joust continues and Roia faces Kira. It looks as though Roia is no match for Kira, but with Roia's will of not being left behind she begins to fight back stronger then ever. Roia's spirit defeats Kira's and Roia is about to kill Kira when Zed yells out to here and she stops. After Kira admits defeat Roia falls unconscious. Noah tells Zed he will have Roia treated at their best hospital but he asks that Zed meet with Hiram. What does Hiram want with Zed and what will happen to Roia?
Moreno and Zed's match begins. Right off the bat Mereno shows Zed what she is made of. Zed is getting beat bad when he calls out Amil Gaoul. Will Zed's Key Spirit be enough to win him the Joust?
